Memory: Her mother's suicide (age sixteen)
Regained: Day 76, Dealer
Form: Photos of Tavros, Riful, Steel, and Tempest. Tear in half to receive memory. (2/4)
Contents: The memory starts off horribly, with Lua's mother—Heine—screaming and crying about how she can't live being scandalised all her life. It's only Lua who's in the room with her, and while she doesn't show her fear, she's shaking a little bit and has both her fists curled up.
Heine continues to yell about how upset she is with Lua and how she shouldn't have spoiled her growing up. She also mentions that her father would never, ever be proud of her and she should just give up being the Water Guardian because she's not a master of anything and nor is she deserving to protect anything. At some point during Heine's ranting, she asks Lua why in the world would she kill Kiye- someone who's treated her like a daughter after her father died.
Heine is legitimately upset and continues to cry, and ends up attacking Lua with boiling water balls. Lua doesn't retaliate nor say anything, but instead, just stands there and takes the blame for Kiye's murder.
A bit scalded with the attack, Lua puts a hand on her cheek to immediately heal the burn. She continues to not say anything to her mother.
And after some more rantings about how useless Lua is and how disappointing of a daughter she is, Heine summons a large icicle and stabs herself in her core.
"It's all because of you" rings in Lua's ears as she exits the room without even shedding a tear.
